Terms & Conditions
At Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher, my goal is to make your bridal beauty experience as seamless and stress free as possible. To ensure everything runs smoothly, I have a few important terms and conditions in place.These cover booking procedures, deposits, cancellations, travel and anything else you need to know. By securing your booking, you're agreeing to these terms, which help me to provide the best possible service for you and all of my brides. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. 1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit
To secure your wedding date with Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher, a non-refundable deposit of £150 is required. This deposit will be deducted from the total balance. Your booking will only be confirmed once both this contract and the deposit have been received.
2. Final Payment
The remaining balance must be paid in full via bank transfer, no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Failure to make full payment within this time frame may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.
3. Travel Fees
A mileage fee of 50p per mile will be charged from St Leonards, Ringwood, to your wedding location on the day. If travelling exceeds one hour, an additional £10 per hour travel fee will apply. Additional expenses such as parking or tolls may also apply and will be discussed prior to booking.
For Destination weddings or locations requiring travel of more than two hours or where a start time before 6:30am is required, overnight accommodation the night before may be necessary. This will be discussed and agreed upon in advance to ensure timely and stress-free service on the wedding day.
4. Changes to Booking
No changes to the number of services (e.g., hair or makeup for bridal party members) can be made within 90 days of the wedding date. Any services cancelled within this period will still be charged in full, as this time has been reserved, and other bookings declined.
5. Bank Holidays/ Out of hours
Bookings scheduled on UK bank holidays or Sundays are subject to an additional surcharge. Where services require me to leave home before 6:00am, a £50 surcharge will apply. All applicable surcharges will be confirmed at the time of booking and added to your invoice. These surcharges are non-refundable and apply in addition to standard service rates and travel fees.
6. Cancellation Policy
All deposits/ booking fees are strictly non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances. If you choose to cancel your booking more than 8 weeks before your wedding date, only the deposit/booking fee will be forfeited. Within 8 weeks of the wedding date, the full remaining balance as stated on your invoice will still be payable. All cancellations must be made in writing (by email) to be valid. Failure to pay the outstanding balance for a late cancellation may result in further action being taken to recover the amount owed.
7. Force Majeure
In the rare event that the Artist is unable to fulfill your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g. illness, extreme weather, emergency), every effort will be made to find a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, all monies paid, including the deposit will be refunded in full.
8. Client Responsibilities
The client must inform the artist of any allergies, skin sensitivities or medical conditions that may affect the use of beauty products. Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher will not be held liable for any reactions if no prior information is provided. Clients must ensure that hair is clean, dry and ready for styling, and that faces are clean and makeup free before the artists arrival.
9. Liability
The Artist will take all reasonable precautions to ensure a high standard of hygiene and professional service. However, the Artist accepts no responsibility for any loss, damage, delay, or injury caused by circumstances beyond their control.
