Terms & Conditions

At Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher, my goal is to make your bridal beauty experience as seamless and stress free as possible. To ensure everything runs smoothly, I have a few important terms and conditions in place.These cover booking procedures, deposits, cancellations and travel. ​By securing your booking, you're agreeing to these terms, which help me to provide the best possible service for you and all of my brides. ​​1. Bridal Contract - All bridal contracts must be completed, signed and returned at your earliest convenience. Your booking will only be secured once the required deposit has been received.​

 

2. Deposit & Booking Confirmation - To secure your wedding date with Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher, a non refundable deposit of £150 is required. This deposit ensures your booking and will be deducted from the total balance. 

 

3. Final Payment - The remaining balance must be paid in full via bank transfer no later than 4 weeks prior to the wedding date. Failure to make full payment within this time frame may result in cancellation of your booking without a refund.

 

4. Mileage & Travel Fees - A mileage fee of 50p per mile will be charged from my home in St Leonards, Ringwood, to your wedding location on the wedding day. If travelling over one hour, a £10 p/h travel fee will be applied. Additional travel expenses (such as parking or tolls ) may also apply and will be discussed prior to booking.

5.Bank Holidays/ Out of hours - Bookings scheduled on UK bank holidays or Sundays may be subject to an additional surcharge.  Where services require me to leave home before 6:00am, a £50 surcharge will apply. All applicable surcharges will be confirmed at the time of booking and will be added to your final invoice. These surcharges are non- refundable and apply in addition to standard service rates and travel fees.

 

5. Cancellation Policy - All deposits/ booking fees are strictly non refundable and non transferable under any circumstances. If you choose to cancel you booking - More than 8 weeks before your wedding, only your deposit/ booking fee will be forfeited. Within 8 weeks of the wedding date, the full remaining balance as stated on your invoice will still be payable. All cancellations must be made in writing (by email) to be valid.

Failure to pay the outstanding balance for a late cancellation may result in further action being taken to recover the amount owed.

6. Changes to Your Booking - Any amendments to your booking (e.g, number of people requiring services) must be communicated as soon as possible. I will do my best to accommodate changes, but additional fees may apply. No changes can be made within 4 weeks of the wedding and no refunds will be given.

 

​7. Force Majeure - In the rare event I am unable to fulfill your booking due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g illness, extreme weather or an emergency), I will make every effort to find a suitable replacement. If this is not possible, a full refund will be issued for any payments made, including the deposit.

 

​8. Client Responsibility - It is the client's responsibility to inform me of any allergies, skin sensitivities or medical conditions that may affect the use of beauty products. Simply Gorgeous by Sophie Gallagher will not be held liable for any reactions that occur if no prior information was provided.
