HOW IT ALL WORKS
Firstly, congratulations! What an exciting time this is for you! From our very first contact, I’ll check my availability, discuss pricing, and answer any questions you may have.
If you’re happy to move forward, we can secure your date and officially welcome you as a Simply Gorgeous Bride!
I then recommend booking a trial 2–3 months before your wedding day where we’ll find a date that works best for both of us. Please note that during peak season, trials are available Monday–Thursday only.
THE TRIAL
A Bridal trial gives you a preview of what it could be like on your wedding and is the perfect time for you to really get to know your Hair & Make up artist, and most especially, for Me to get to know all about you, the Bride!
I carry out all of my bridal trials at my home studio in St Leonards, Ringwood. Here, you can feel free to bring your mum along, your sister, a bridesmaid or a friend, or just enjoy a couple of hours of pampering all to yourself.
My studio space is set up with both natural lighting and a ring light to ensure your make up application is applied perfectly. I also stock a beautiful range of hair accessories which we can try to complete your finished look.
My main priority is you. I understand how important it is for you to still look like yourself, but also to feel the most beautiful and confident version. Before leaving, I will ensure we are both delighted with the final look that has been created on the day and I will then take lots of pictures and fill in a face chart to keep in my records for your wedding day so nothing will be forgotten!
THE WEDDING DAY
For me, weddings are more than just turning up and doing hair and make up. For me, weddings are all about the little things.
They’re about meeting new people, listening while you tell me your favourite memories on the morning of the wedding, sharing laughter, but most of all, being chosen to do yours and your bridal parties hair and make up on your wedding day is truly an honour and I take such pride in knowing I played such a big part of your special day.
I will do my utmost to provide a calm and relaxed atmosphere and aim to have everyone ready 45 minutes to 1 hour before you need to depart for your ceremony to give you plenty of time to get into your dress, have some photos taken and time to enjoy those last moments with your bridal party.
